I think that this may be one of my favorite free hand of all time. Truly amazing I love when funky things are done with the stem.
 
It's like a 1950's finned freehand cutty. Separately, not good things, in my opinion, but together, holy wow, I'd own that proudly. Very curious, whimsical and shows off the grain somethin' fierce!

The whole end twists off, bit is part of tail piece, nice setup.

Well, I've been buried in commission work, day job, blah blah blah. Hasn't left much if any time for posting. Good thing is, Chicago is done (which was FANTASTIC!!), so I can start posting work again :)
