I have acquired a few tins of Cope's Escudo and I can't find any info online about dating the tins. Was wondering if any of you fellas have any knowledge about Cope's?

Abe

Nope, but this is the oldest looking tin of Escudo I've come across:

I'm pretty sure it was an empty tin. Just an image I took from an EBAY auction.
The Loring site is great.

Very cool tin, is it empty? I just stumbled upon this page about dating english tins, which I found to be pretty informative. http://www.loringpage.com/attpipes/tobdatepaper.html

My Escudos looks to be from the 80's, although I'm not sure when Cope's quite making it.

Thanks so much for that link, Abe! Bookmarked for sure.
Another "thanks for the link". This is GREAT information. Reading this has taken hours since it has sent me onto so many other tangents looking for further information on related (and not related  ) topics.

'preciate it.
