Dem Bones

I have three of Chris Morgan's Bones pipes of different ages and thought some of you might like to see how they colour over age.
They are, in descending order, New, about 6 weeks, just over 6 months (the last two being smoked 3 or 4 times a week at least).
Sorry its a crappy phone photo and tends to darken all the pipes slightly but IO think you'll get the idea.

Yes, just a coat of wax, that's all..

I have a couple of Savinellis like that, some of my favorite smokers.

Very nice pipes, thanks for sharing. I like the natural finish as it gets darker the more you smoke them. I've made a few pipes myself and only used a mixture of Bee's wax and mineral oil to finish the briar. Recently finished another pipe for a friend, still need to sign the pipe before I ship.
