I pinched the photo snippet below from Dukeofbluz' great set of CPCC photos. Does anyone recognize the pipemaker? Can't quite make out the name. Thanks!

 
Well, thank you! That was fast.

I've found some of his pipes. They're not cheap, but they sure are nice. He evidently does a lot of olivewood pipes. Hmmm....wonder what that is like?

I have an olivewood churchwarden from Mario Grandi. They actually do taste different especially when they are brand new and not broken in yet. I quite like it and am looking to get one or more in addition to this one.

It seems to have a very mild "woody" taste, not unlike a plain toothpick does.

That's about the the best I can describe it but YMMV.
