ill start this off with an update to my $50-80 pipe thread, this is the Stanwell Brushed Black poker i ended up with along with the stand that P&C threrw in for a whooping $1, P&C list these as unfiltered pipes in there data, as i found out as soon as i got the pipe, that was incorrect! smokes like a dream and the stock photos make the finish look not very good but in person its great, unfortunately the "S" has already come off the stem from a couple microfiber cloth rub downs..

these are some gifts i have received from a couple member, a nice little clay pipe, dandy little thing she is!
a GBD 508, which i am smoking for the first time this moment with some 965, the herbal pop is really coming out nicely!
a Brebbia Barbi, i adore the shape and look of this pipe!
a Brebbia Koralle, rather big bowl on this one but seems to smoke well with some 5100
and just cause i thought i had ordered my first Savinelli the night before the package arrived (601 churchwarden, should be here next week) this was also in the box a Savinelli Natural, its an unmarked pipe except for the acorn "s" but i believe it is a 614 Porto Cervo based on the double gold rings on the stem

and i believe it is customary to have a pipe ring

Watch out--they'll breed! That's a more extensive collection than that of some old boys I know who have been smoking pipes for decades. Congratulations on acquiring some nice pieces.

that could be a problem since i've run out of storage long ago already! could be fun also! all the little baby pipes these could make!

Ya got some nice ones there sir, well on your way to a room full!

What is the bowl inside diameter on that poker? I like the look of it.
according to p&c the inner bowl is .7x 1.6, but out of all the styles they offer of the brushed black the poker 207 is sold out

Thank you guys! I'm working my way up there but I'm not doing so well at the "rotation" part

That is a very fine set of pipes sir that anyone would be a proud owner of. And as I love Pokers that one runs the bases with me!

And in the third pic, is the one on the lower right a GBD? If so I have that exact pipe and it's a fine smoker. Love the "tree bark" finish too.

Cheers,

RR

bottom right corner is one of my grandfathers Mastercraft pipes, that's the one I asked for help gluing back together, the GBD is 2ns photo bottom left.

So the one I spotted in the 3rd pic, lower right, is not a GBD but your grandfather's Mastercraft?

I'll swear I have this exact same pipe and it's a GBD pot. Even seems to have the same Rondell (or however it's spelled) as in your pic, at least as far as I can tell. Don't have the ability to zoom in on that.

I snagged mine from a brother on this site, probably Mattia. And I can't bring up my PAD post about it  (dropped off the pages) nor access his info. Yet it looks to be the same, even in your 4th pic at 3 o'clock.

Ah, now I see!

The shape, finish, and position of the stem mark are identical to my GBD. Even the shape of the stem mark looks much the same. No wonder I was confused!

Thanks for the clarification.
