Favorite Bourbons?

Elijah Craig Small Batch 12 year at the moment. Expensive but I'm worth it. :shock:

Knob Creek a close second. Not quite as smooth but neither am I. :roll:

Eagle Rare 12 yr is a good bourbon. So is Rowan's Creek.

There's lots of good bourbon out there but distribution seems to be a problem. I got a bottle of Bulleit in a tobacco pass that I thought was outstanding, but it isn't available round these parts. Eagle Rare, Pappy Van Winkle, Woodford and Bakers are on my list to grab.

Booker's, Baker's, Wild Turkey 101/Rare Breed/Russel's Reserve, Elijah Craig 12year (expensive?), Buffalo Trace (same price as Elijah Craig by me $24-ish)

Knob Creek and Basil Hayden are just Jim Beam aged longer (which is a good thing, but meh)

Woodford's is OK, but I think it's over priced (like Maker's Mark, not bad but not worth $35, I'd go Rare Breed or Russel's Reserve for that, or Baker's but it's only $35 at the duty free store).

Not available,,,liquor stores state their distributors don't handle them. Won't deal with it.

DUTY FREE STORE??? This is new york,,,nothing's free and your duty is to die in poverty.

It's pretty obvious there's no parity across the board.

Living in KY might throw off the prices but a good one to try for a reasonable price is Old Forester.
