First vintage, Parker 51

I'd been eyeing these for some time. Figured my first vintage would be either a 51 or a Schaeffer Balance. Really I've been just patiently waiting for one to pop up at a good price in great condition. The two 51 models that appeal to me most are the Dove Grey and the Burgundy with rolled gold cap and clip. A very fine example of a Dove Grey came along at what I thought was a very good price for the condition, so I pounced. Looks almost new, writes wonderfully (medium nib), feels great in the hand. Down the rabbit hole I go :bounce:

The 51 is a great pen. Very comfortable. I have a bluish/teal version, but that gray is nice!

Is that a aerometric? I don't see a seam for the vac.

Another that I like is the Wahl Eversharp Skyline. Probably similarly priced.
