I'm trying to expand my pipe shape selection from my standard choice, a Rhodisian. A couple of months ago I was crusing the "bay" and saw this no-name Canadian that had frankly seen better days. There was something about it that told me to gamble, so I paid $19.00 on a hunch.

When it arrived it was a tired pipe that had potential. Originally I was just going to send it to Mike at Walker Pipe Repair for a new stem, but then I was feeling lazy, and decided to have it cleaned, reamed, polished, and given an ozone treatment along with the new black/red lucite stem (resembles a Cumberland). Mike made this pipe into a treasure that I'm really proud of. Thanks Mike!

Sweet Canadian! One of my favorite shapes.

I sent a pipe to Mike earlier this year and he does fantastic restoration work.

Congrats.

Canadian is my all time fav.

Nice score and great restoration back to it's rightful place in society.

Very nice restoration. Mike does fantastic work, doesn't he?

I sent him a Ser Jacopo pipe with a broken stem and he fixed it such that you couldn't even see where the break was. Plus he made me a new stem in the exact same design, all for a pittance.

Happy camper here!
