Gardesana
From Pipedia

Gardesana-- full name Gardesana Pipe SNC di Fiorenzo Rovera e.C. SNC produces machine-made series pipes in numerous lines and finishes. The jugdements on them range from "smokeable" to "excellent for the price" (up to appr. $100 for the better lines). Gardesana are not only available at tobacconist's, they are also frequently offered by online traders with a kinda drugstore character.

Gardesana produces the HIS (Hugo International Series) pipes, too.

How Fiorenzo Rovera is akin to the other numerous pipe making Roveras is currently unknown.

They look like pretty nice pipes for the money but it is hard to tell from photos. Ask the retailer if they pass a pipe cleaner. That will give you an idea on the engineering. if the pipe passes a pipe cleaner through the stem to the bottom of the bowl it probably is decent for the money and will have a good draw. Aesthetically they look nice.

The guy at the shop does not know much about pipes, so I would have to check it out for myself. He has some for $30 , and others at $60.00
Since I am new to pipe smoking I will probably try out the $30 pipe first.
thanks for the info.

I have 3 of the HIS series, by Gardensana, all in the $30 to $40 range, and all 3 are darn good smokers! Not bad to look at either.

For a new puffer, you couldn't go wrong with these. :pipe:
