Some time ago I chopped down an old oak tree and cut up the branches. One branch with a fork looked like it could be cut into a pipe! So, I cut it up and let it dry out for months. Recently, I cut it to the shape I wanted. Then I bored out the bowl and drilled the stem. I then added a Missouri Meerschaum bit and it looked pretty good. I wanted to rusticate the top of the bowl but it was too hard for my Dremel tools so I decided to just smoke it. I've been smoking it for several days now and it smokes great. Maybe I'll leave it just the way it is. It's big and it's heavy, but I am enjoying it.
Currently smoking some Carter Hall in it.
