Good Tobacconist In Northwest Suburbs (Chicago)

Hello all,

I wanted to know if anyone here knows of a good tobacco and pipe shop in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. I'm looking for places between Vernon Hills and Gurnee. Any help would be much appreciated as I would like to browse for more pipes and new blends to try. My college released for winter break last week and now I am off until New Year's, and if I don't find little things to do like finding little pipe shops, I will go stir crazy in my house haha.

Can't help with the 'burbs, but Iwan Ries is worth a train ride.

I'll echo Iwan Ries as a recommendation. I just left there after enjoying a pipe and some good conversation. Their pipe selection is stellar, as is their tobacco selection. Prices are pretty damn good too. Hop the L down to the Wabash and Madison Brown Line stop and you're there. Adam is the guy you want to talk to about pipes.
