Hello :D so i made my first pipe a little while ago (using a pre drilled block) and ive had a lot of trouble figuring out a reliable source of briar blanks (pre drilled or otherwise)

Where do you guys get your project kits?

Thanks in advance!

I've heard great things about working with TIM WEST. You might look him up and see what you think.

Brian.

Steve Norse or Tim West. Steve is on Ebay as Vermont Freehand, I can highly recommend his wood and he sells kits at good prices.

Mark Tinsky aka American Smoking Pipe has done me well in the past also as well as Tim West aka J.H. Lowe.  ;)

A second vote for Steve, he has some real nice Algerian Briar, his ebay site is here:
http://stores.ebay.com/Vermont-Freehand

If you contact him in person he will do you a better deal than through his ebay site, don't know if Steve is registered here but you can get hold of him through Pipe Makers Forum here under the username of Vermont Freehand:

I've ordered from both and received great service from both. Anything from tools to briar block and predrilled kits. Cant go wrong with either imo!
