I just started smoking tinned tobacco. I have been smoking Captain Black out of pouches. It seems a lot harder to smoke this tobacco. I have trouble keeping it lit and it smokes really fast. Is it because it is too wet?
 
What blend are you smoking? Is it a flake?
Drying out a little usually does help, or adjusting the density of how it's packed in the bowl.
If it is a flake that you are trying, they tend to be a little more difficult to keep lit.
