Just spent two weeks there in October. The cities shown in the video are Shanghai, Beijing (Forbidden City) and I think at the end it is Hong Kong.

It is a fascinating place and the people are very friendly. We visited Beijing , Xian, Chongqing, Wuhan and Shanghai. We also traveled the Yangtze by cruise ship and traveled through the Three Gorges region. In the film the mountainous area with the river looks like the Three Gorges region.

China is a lot more sophisticated now than when I spent 2 months there in '88.

That all depends on what you define as "real".

Call me racist, call me ignorant. I don't care. I have been to China. I am an open minded person. I am scared to death of these people.
