A stupid question... is there any benefits for a pipe being a nosewarmer except the obvious savings in the weight and smaller leverage to twist your jaw?

I really like the stain and the blast on this pipe, but I just do not like the lines - just like on most of the nosewarmers in general. Perhaps I've just not acquired the taste yet, felt the same with pokers when I first saw them but now that's my favorite shape :lol:
