Just chillin' on the porch

It's the first night in a long time that it isn't too cold to be out for any length of time. I'm sitting on my front porch, with my daughter's Macbook in my lap, enjoying a bowl of Prince Albert and looking at the neighbor's Christmas lights.

So many things are good about this: the baccy, the pipe (it's actually the first pipe I ever bought, over 30 years ago), the relatively mild temps, the lights...and technology. It still floors me that I can sit out here and communicate with my brothers...some of whom are in other countries, for crying out loud...with such ease.

Life is pretty good.
