I got this Gale a little bit ago and thought I would just show off the before and after.

It is an interesting idea and I have always been a fan of the unusual pipes.

Nice restoration, and a fine pipe to smoke outdoors on a windy day. Just don't get your fingers on that metal while they are hot!!!

Very nice clean-up! I like that contraption, curiously enough I just saw the Kaywoodie Gale line looking up another Kaywoodie line.

Is that a brylon pipe staring with envy from beside the cardboard box? Bowl looks a lot like one I have. :lol:

Nice eye, yes it is a brylon a medico vfq to be exact

Beautiful Kaywoodie's right there, I have the one KayW myself (a gift from a very dear friend actually) and it's one of my favourite smokers, it always lets the smoke speak for itself without hindrance, marvellous pipes wish I had more to be honest.

I like Kaywwodies, and also like the way that wind cover is designed...nice restore and cool pipe
