EJ, he could be identified by the way he wears his feathers and clothing as well. My first guess would be a Oglala Sioux but its just a guess. I will do some asking and let you know what I find. I agree with you that the pics is very cool. I agree with you that the Redman did well with moderation but did (and still does) poorly with booze.
btw sitting on the ground, barefooted and smoking a pipe is very relaxing. I like doing it as I feel more connected to earth and all her beauty. Heck, we sit on the ground as kids and then for some reason we no longer do it once we become "grown-ups".
