Last Pipe Purchase of 2023

Well, I last bought a pipe in October, but after the miss with the new now returned off drilled Ropp (handled very well by SP), I had my sites on a Briarworks because they have a reputation for being well made with good drilling. I like the classic shapes, so decided on a C91 in blasted brown. SP had 15% off, so I have that pipe in an estate with a reddish brown blast and amber stem. I'd prefer a tortoiseshell stem, so may seek out one to swap. I'll post a pic next week.

I pulled the trigger on my first Falcon this week. It will show up in about 10 days. A floral meerschaum bowl with a bent international stem. There will be pictures, of course!

No resolutions here. My last purchase of 2023 and my first smoke of 2024 is a Samirva Select
dublin estate pipe. It is a second of Charatan. Good smoking pipe. Carter Hall was the tobacco.
