Odyssey's a Lat bomb, but great.
I just picked up a tin of this blend. I've been on a latakia sampling "odyssey" since I've felt I haven't given this tobacco genre a fair enough shake in the past. I'm really surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. I'm not typically a heavy lat kinda guy but I can't seem to let this tin be and keep dipping back into it.

For a non-typical Latakia blend, give C&D Mississippi Mud a try. It's Perique, Latakia and unsweetened black cavendish.

The latakias I like are SG- Balkan Flake,Squadron Leader, Dunhill- Standard,965 My Mixture,Nighcap(although this is stonger)and London Mixture this one has more oriental. My favourite is Balkan Flake but it can be difficult to light but is a beautiful smoke.Pipeman1947 :pirate: :pirate:

For a tasty Latakia experience I can't do better than (as LIPIPE has noted) C&D Engine 99. C&D Star of the East is excellent as well and a tad bit sweeter than the Engine.
