Hey guys, I'm new to the site, but I've been lurking for a while. I've got a question regarding re-lighting. I had a bowl last night and about half-way through the bowl I had to re-light. The problem is that I lost all taste from the tobacco. I wish this was the first time this has happened, but its not. I was smoking McClellands #24 and it seems to only be with this particular tobacco that I have this problem. What am I doing wrong?

I use nasal snuff, but not when piping cause it screws up my
sensory input.Eating Buffalo Wings in between bowls? :p

I wonder if it's just the characteristics of the tobacco. You know that a bowl of tobacco will change in flavor from the first 1/4, to the half way mark, to the last quarter, right?

Anyone familiar with this tobacco?

Yea, I do... it just seems odd that it would lose all flavor. Kind of tragic really.
