I am inspired by the Ming Kahuna site and want to attempt to make my own lucite/acrylic tamper for my pipe. Has anyone on the board tried to do this yet? I have a shape figured out, I think, but I don't really know how to work with acrylic.
I'm assuming you shape it as you would briar? I know how to polish it since I work on my own lucite stems all the time.
The acrylic I purchased is a georgeous Ocean Waves stock from Pipe Makers Emporium. It looks even better in person that on their site.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone know how I can reset my password, or make sure that my account has been activated at PipeMakersForum?
Thanks,
