And, my house has been blown to smithereens!!

Now I have to explain to my kids why we'll be sleeping in the car tonight...

After the dust settled I was able to piece some of it together.

(Pics below)

Thank you all so much!!
This is craziness...

This is everything I've received so far. Detailed list to come later today...

Holy crap...thanks again. I'm deeply appreciative and humbled...I don't even know what else to say.
Jeez O Pete...you guys tipped his house upside down!!!

One more package arrived yesterday. A delicious bag of coffee from Slate Coffee Roasters...and then hidden in the bag was a Savinelli Duca Carlo full bent Oom Paul that looks to be to be unsmoked or smoked very very little.

What group of people here... I'm blown away by your generosity, everyone. A detailed list will be typed up on the regular computer tomorrow. Currently on mobile.

OK, here is a list of everything so far...I think...If I left anything off, my apologies...

Pipes:
- Big Casino Pipe with Green stem and pouch (smokes like a dream)
- Savinelli Duca Carlo Oom Paul (also smokes very well, light and easy to clench)
- Piersel Pipe to finish (in the note, Scottie called it a collaboration pipe, I'm beyond honored)

Tobacco Tins:
- Rattrays' Red Raparee
- Rattrays' Hal O' The Wynd
- Two Friends Irish Mist
- GLP Telegraph Hill
- C&D Briar Fox
- McC Frog Morton on the Bayou
- Sutliff Blend No. 5
- MacB Virginia #1
- Stanwell Melange
- CAO Eileen's Dream
- Dunhill Royal Yacht
- Petersons Irish Flake
- SG St. James' Flake
- SG Golden Glow
- Erin Go Braugh Irish Whisky Pouch
- (there's one more tin in there tucked under the Red Raparee, but I can't tell what it is in the pic and I don't remember off the top of my head what it is, sorry)

Bulk Tobacco:
- 2oz 4Noggins Prairie Wind
- 2oz 4Noggins Prairie Wind (yes, that's right, two people each sent about 2oz, I really liked it BTW)
- 4oz Peter Stokkebye English Oriental Supreme (smells great)
- 2oz Dan Tobacco Treasures of Galways
- Sample SG Balkan Flake
- Sample Russ Oulette's (sp?) Spring Training (not a bad aro, smelled way too sweet, but smoked pretty well)

Other:
- Notre Dame Chocolate Bar
- Big Bag of Coffee Crunch Popcorn
- NASA Shuttle Keychain
- Pipe Tool
- Pipe Cleaners
- 250g of Kenyan Coffee from Slate Coffee Roasters in Seattle
- Coffee Mug (I think it must be from Smoking pipes, my wife said it's like the pipe version of the Nike "swoosh")

And...

1 whole BOX of Peterson Cigars...not just a stick or two...a whole freakin' BOX, made by Ashton for Petersons...very nice...

Thank you again, everyone...this is crazy...everything is going to be well aged by the time I get through the samples and everything else I have open already.  I feel like I'll never get to try everything.  haha!

That Scottie collaboration pipe is cool as all get out.
I know...I thought, "ooh a pipe kits that's cool" then I realized it had a perfect cumberland stem, and the grain was already beautiful, and then I realized what it was, I was floored. Now I have to take care not to screw it up.

Don't worry about screwing it up......I've thrown away two stems and a block just this morning. It happens. Can't wait to see it. Post some good pictures soon!

As I sit at work, momentarily relieved from the devastation and chaos that is my home, I relish that I'll be able to go home and just put my life back together...

Boy was I wrong!!

I arrive to find this:
image17.jpg

A long distance, almost intercontinental bomb arrived from Alaska. How shall I ever recover, if I get follow up, adding insult to injury, bombs!?

Salmon jerky
Beef/pork/ reindeer smokey
Two corncob pipes
3 Peterson tins (sweet Killarney, connoisseurs choice, and Sherlock Holmes )
Another bag of coffee. ( this time from Ravens Brew in AK)
Pipe cleaners
Pipe tool
Two mini-bottles of Irish whiskeys

Thanks Fatman!

Yum!

Seriously guys...

That's enough...I'm sick of the generosity, the friendliness, the rampant filling of my cellar and supplementing and complementing my accessory arsenal.

Arrived home yesterday to find this...

How cool is that?! Little pipe plugs/caps and a very nicely made pipe pouch perfect for a short day or long car ride.

Thanks a lot to whomever the Canadian person who sent these!

I must admit that that was far more than a bomb. Perhaps nuclear even...
