I've got a real cheap meer and i'm really starting to want another, better quality, meer. where is a good place to get decent ones?

No, the first two are Altinok, the next two are IMP
and the last two are Baki. All three make quality meers.

I've 4 meers, all what are called "figural", two eagle claw/egg, one is a bust of Thomas Jefferson and my latest one I bought last year from Altinok, a Bacchus carved by Kudret Gezer. It's the most expensive I own and I'll probably die before it really get's colored well :twisted: here's a pic from Altinok of it:

They are great folks to deal with.

Wow! I have never smoked a meer, but I have a birthday coming up and my step dad asked what I want. I told him a new pipe of course. So he is talking about getting me a meer. Fingers crossed! Those are just beautiful pieces!!!

These are in order 100 year old  lion head block meerschaum, and a 75 year old meerschaum topped gourd calabash. Both about as old as me. Wonderful smokes, both!

Not nearly as nice as the Hermits'
