So I popped a tin of PCCA Tudor Castle dated 08 and I am amazed how different it is from the last tin I opened which was about 8 months ago. Gone are the constituent tobaccos fighting for the front taste. they are melding into a heavenly taste of oriental exoticism. A taste of balance. A great example of a blend "Merging " for me another interesting aspect of our hobby.

I was not real impressed with Hearth and Home Anniversary Kake at first so I stuffed it in a mason jar and forgot about it for a couple of months. Loaded a bowl one day and yummy!!!!

Time heals all (well, most) wounds ...

(meaning):

That is to say, a blend that is not great at first or a bit unbalanced (i.e., 'wounded') will, in time, likely become great (i.e., healed). Enjoy!
