What are the pros and cons to morta? There isnt much information on this type of pipe.

Thanks,
Bill

Great link, Hermit. Now I want a set of abonos morta dishes.

Bill, if you decide on morta, taharris is a good go-to here on the forum. 8) I'll be purchasing a second of his handiwork very soon.

first input didnt take so I'll type it again, but not so long

Morta pipes .. love them .. the taste like cobs the first few times until cake builds up in them.. but I smoke mine multiple times a day w/out a thought.. just like my meerschaums..

I've heard that Latika's taste especially good in the.. but have none.. so I smoke some of my regular blends in mine.. (virginia based)

worth the investment.. just have to decide on whom to purchase one from...

That's good to hear. I've become kind of a "Lat-head" but have yet to fire up my only Harris Morta... it's just so damn nice... I really have to get over it. :p 8)

Great link, Hermit—thanks!

It's especially good to hear that mortas can be smoked so hard; even olive is supposed to be smoked no more than once a day, but can be smoked everyday.
