I don't have a problem with flinching and am very comfortable with firearms. I grew up deer and squirrel hunting. I carried a 30/30 and .22 semi-auto respectively. My problem is more my lack of experience with a handgun, not with guns in general. And yes, I am well above average with a rifle....makes my daddy proud.
