My first meer lined pipe

My Father-in-law who passed away last year was a Korean War airborne vet, a great person who I greatly admired. This was gifted to me by my Mother-in-law. She said it was his favorite. I must do some cleaning now....

I have two meers, this would be my first meer lined pipe.

Sorry for your loss. Having a favorite pipe passed down to someone who appreciates it would please your FIL.

Beautiful pipe and an awesome gift to behold. It's wonderful that it could be passed down to someone that will not only enjoy it, but will also cherish and honor not just what but who it represents. Wouldn't it be amazing if we all knew the stories of the individuals who once owned all the estate pipes that we currently smoke?
