My first pipe

I thought I'd share this with me Brethren.

This here was my first pipe, a Medico standard. Unfortunatly, Brylon; but unlike many, I've never had any bad experiences with Brylon.
And even after 5+ years of collecting and pipe smoking, I still feel the need to take to this little piece of nostalgia from time to time.

You definitely got an early start to pipe smoking/collecting! What made you interested in pipes?

It had began as an idea, and I let it flourish..

I cannot however, think of anyone who influenced me to pick up the pipe. I had never though where I lived that there was anybody who sold Tobacco pipes, Let alone a tobacconist. But after frivolous searching; I came across a small store, in which I bought my Medico and a pouch of Borkum Rift Bourbon Whiskey.

And it all began from there.

I still enjoy the occasional smoke from my very first pipe, a meerschaum lined, rusticated Dr. Grabow.
Still smooth after 20 plus years.

Its funny how we get nostalgic about these things and they stick in our minds.
