I have never made any pipe before. Decided I wanted a cob with an antler shank. I wanted way more bent than this, but this is how it came out.

 
Looks pretty good for a first try. How does it smoke? That's what really counts. It could be the best looking pipe in the world, but it isn't worth much if it doesn't smoke well.

Do you hve any pic's that show how far the horn goes into the bowl. Did you use glue or epoxy ?
 
Ok to everyone asking. I think it smokes fine. i have noticed no weird flavor etc. a the draw is a little too open but not too bad. To glue the antler in place i used elmers wood glue, and on the inside i covered that with pipe mud and put a hardwood plug in the bottom of the pipe and built that up with mud until it was the right height for the hole. the horn goes in about as far as the wood does on a regular MM pipe.
