Pease, McC, Esoterica, etc.. What do you think about aging tobacco in this type of packaging? I have found that the moisture content is fine on bags that have been four and five years old. However, I am uncertain as to whether they are substantial enough for long term storage.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Moisture isn't the issue for long-term mylar bag storage, but rather the molecules of volatile compounds that create the flavor escaping. Unless it's the specially-developed Pease high-barrier aging bags (or someone using same), bags aren't the best medium for years of aging.
