I'm looking to add a genuine, quality gourd calabash to my stable. Any suggestions as to where I might look? Thanks.

Doug

Wow. Some of those are awesome. Buy one and let us know how it smokes. Half a yard, but you might as well get a good one. That would be my recommendation, since it isn't my money. :joker:

Doug, I purchased an unsmoked mint Pioneer calabash off ebay last year that smokes outstanding. After my experience with smoking it, I will always have at least one meerschaum cup calabash in my regular rotation.

Also, here's another source you may appreciate. Strambach of Austria has a great reputation, and the prices aren't outrageous IMO. I have done business with this ebay seller, and have had a great experience with him, although I have yet to purchase one of his calabash pipes.....

Thanks for the suggestions. The Baki pipes are beautiful, but pricey. I may pull the trigger on the Strambach. Thanks again.

Radica Pipe has some awesome one's but the guy takes forever to do anything so expect a wait if you go there

In the second half of this video, there is a box opening for a very impressive Baki calabash. Even the leather case looks higher quality than other meers I have purchased from Turkey.
