New Ashtray

Grabbed this ashtray from Ebay last week, it showed up yesterday. It
will fit in with our patio nicely. They also included a "Willard
Imported Briar" pipe (one white dot on stem). But, the stem is stuck.
The wife says it is my Fathers Day gift, but I snuck a picture holding my new Boswell

It came with a pipe, which wasn't mentioned. A "Willard Imported Briar", but the stem is stuck.

I stuck it in the freezer and it unscrewed easily. I removed the stinger, than polished the bowl with my bench Dremel and the stem with some Meguiars plastic polish. Much better. Smokes OK, but someone put the death grip on the end of the stem. It feels strange with another man's stem between my teeth. I'll just save it as a curiosity. It seems the Willard pipes were made by Dr. Grabow for sale through military base post exchanges to the Armed Forces, interesting.
