...mmm... no. The very last thing your image link should have while in the image brackets should be ".jpg" or some other picture/image extension.

For example: (img)http://www.picturesite.com/holycrap/a/picture/wow/check/it/out/picture.jpg(/img)

The only difference: In my fake example just above this, the parenthesis () are actually square brackets [] -- I used these because the programming of the forum here would actually try to post a nonexistent picture from my example, and would end up blank like your post. 8)
