Just found this forum. Thinking about taking up the pipe, but haven't actually purchased one yet. Will browse around a little before I start asking lots of questions.

Be careful you will be buying tobacco by the pounds and pipes by the dozens if you don't turn back now! :D

Good luck on your quest. Be sure to ask questions. We will help you out the best we can.

Welcome! I am new here too, but very nice people here, you should enjoy it.

Welcome to the brotherhood, sir!! I hope you enjoy your stay... and, I'm sure you will! There are a bunch of awfully good fellows here!

Any time you are ready, ask away with your questions. We're always ready to help in any way that we can!!

Oh... once you get a pipe, it is law that you post pictures of it!!! ;) It really isn't "law." But, we're all picture whores!!!

Again, welcome!!! Please stick around... and, post often!!!! ;)

Well don't just sit there,,,grab a couple Missouri Meerschaums (can't go wrong with corncobs,,,cheap too) and get busy figuring out what tobacco you enjoy,,,if you find smoking pipe isn't to your liking then you're out maybe fifteen bucks,,,tobacco samples are cheap at a lot of sites and the only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask,,,,WELL????,,,

Welcome aboard!

I worked in Ossining and lived in Mt. Kisco for four years. If it's still there, Smoker's Haven in downtown Mt. K. has a small pipe and tobacco selection. City's just a train ride away for much, much more, of course.
