I just finished Sherlock Holmes and the Swedish Enigma by Barry Grant and really enjoyed it. The setting is modern England and this is the 3rd in a series that Grant has written.

I won't give away any of the plot, but this is not a Sherlock wannabe, but the original resssurected. No Watson, I'm afraid, but his heir is passable. Check it out.

Hmmm, I may have to pick up a copy. Thanks for the recommendation!

He has also written "The Strange Return of Sherlock Holmes" and "Sherlock Holmes and the Shakespeare Letter". I have not yet read any of his work, but I may soon.

I read the one I previously mentioned and have the other two on hold at the library.

I enjoyed the read, but I was disappointed that in this series Holmes pipe is strictly a prop.

Thanks for the info, Ill have to pick them up for my collection.
