Grew up in Danbury. Went to college in New London, was stationed in Groton, lived in Waterbury for 1 Year. I miss a few apple orchards & covered bridges, but as for the rest, I don't miss it! LOL! Welcome to pipe smoking! I'd suggest if you haven't already, trying flake cut tobacco. It burns supurbly & REALLY lets you know if you're doing something wrong. If you smoke it right, the pipe doesn't heat up much until towards the end of your smoke when it gets intense & wet at the bottom. I wish I had started out smoking flake. Good luck & enjoy!
