Outbox/Sentbox Dilemma

I've seen a few brothers with this same issue. Can anyone explain why when I go to send a PM, the forum is placing it in my Outbox but not actually sending it and placing in my Sentbox? My mailbox is only around 8% full so that can't be the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if this was the right spot, but I could not find a tech forum.

It goes into the Outbox until the person actually reads it... then it goes into the sent box..

It is a backdoor way of seeing if your message has been read.

Took me awhile to figure it out...
