Probably not a "politically correct" read anymore as he dealt with the Big 5 hunting, but his books never get old no matter how mant times they are read and none could ever be called boring.
 
I remember reading his books when I was younger. May have to reread them.
 
Capstick is a fantastic read that only gets better the less PC he becomes. It's pretty clear in his writing that he was a solid fan of a sundowner...or three. Death in the Long grass is my favorite. I think I still have a copy of Peter Capsticks "Africa".
Truly must read books IMO from a time that's come and gone.
