I use a lot of freeware, but I also use a lot of pay-ware. Neither of which I mind, provided they work and work well.
I don't have an "anti" on any OS or poise/philosophy with software. If it's good, and free, and I use it a lot, I donate. If it's good, and reasonably-priced, I pay for it.
I don't mind MS Win7. It has its strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately, I have a ton of music programs that are not Mac/Linux compatible at all (I've tried), and mapping software that requires a PC. I don't mind. <img class="emojione" alt="?" title="" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/png/1f937.png?v=2.2.7"/>
I ended up with Magix Movie Edit Pro for my video work. When I can muster up the $$$ to own it, I will. The trail program worked flawlessly and does everything I need.
Nothing, to date, beats the price and function of Audacity for my sound editing...I love that program.
