Pipe Stems

GOOD AFTEROON BROTHERS. Now that I have time after retirement I have had an interest in making a few "personal" pipes . I have decided to work with mahogany and briar. Because of my limitations and little knowledge in pipe making, I find that making POKER pipes will allow a little less detail. Just one problem, I'm making the shank from stainless steel tubing and have not the knowledge on stem making. ANY ideas from you brothers would help. I did find that a small stem attached to the stainless steel shank would look better. If anyone makes small stems or can tell me where to get the small stems, this would be GREATFULLY appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.
