pipes in norway?

I'm going to Norway soon and was wondering if there was anywhere specific that anyone knew of to get tobacco, pipes, etc. I would like to come back stateside with a unique pipe if possible.

If you are buying tobacco there, ensure you bring a large briefcase full of cash or an AMEX with a high credit limit.

There are a couple of tobacco shops listed in Bergen and Oslo. Might be a good place to start?

buddy lives there - he doesn't smoke pipes but tells me a pack of cigarettes is the equivalent of about $17 US. Tobacco taxes are very high there.

I haven't been to Norway but I've heard the tobacco taxes are indeed high, and Norway is generally an expensive country. A friend lives there but is not into any tobacco products. So sorry, can't help you there. : (

Enjoy the sceneries though! And looks like one of my favourite bands, Kaizers Orchestra is throwing several gigs around both Oslo and Stavanger area during the next few weeks. Just thought I'd say that. :lol:
