Question about Tobacco Plant Seed Harvest

Hey everyone so Im currently waiting for my burley crop this year to have its flowers fall so i can collect seeds. My question is i see that the pods are still green and when i opened one i saw white "wet" seeds. So do i need to let the seed pods dry and turn brown on the plant while still in the ground? Or can i harvest the large tops hang them up to dry and will the pods dry up and produce usable seeds? Thanks in advance for anyone that can shed some light on this.
 
I'm growing two plants this year, but I topped everything and decided not to harvest seeds. There is another forum that deals with growing tobacco, have you checked out Fair Trade Tobacco? People are posting everyday with questions like yours. There's an app you can download, I got all my blending recipes through the people at this forum, but there's lots about growing tobacco:
