I found this little gem at an antique store and fell in love with it.

I think it is a nicely done Billiard and I love the stem material.

I took it home and removed the blistering coat of lacquer, cleaned it up a bit and re-finished it.

It is marked Yellow Bole Century Model.

Very nice Todd, cleaned up nice, looks like a great smoker, enjoy it Buddy. :)

The IMCO Junior (I think, it ain't a TriPlex) lighter next to it gives it a great nostalgic flair for the shape... ya did good, Todd. Probably just taking the lacquer finish off the darned thing improved it tenfold.

Thanks.

Does anyone know anything about this stem color?

I see it rarely on older pipes, but it doesn't seem to be common today.

Todd,

Im not positive but I think I saw something along that stem color on one of either Chris Askwith's or Trevor Talberts pipes awhile back.

Ya might want to try asking Art from Ming Kahuna too. It might not be "dead on" but he might be able to help steer you to a distributor or something that carries something close.

Hope this helps

Hey if you ever refurbish another pipe document the process...I'd love to she what went into it

You did a great job. That pipe is simply fantastic IMHO.
