What is your take on these. They look nice. They are supposed to be made by
Savinelli. There numbers coincide with Savinelli's numbers also. A Rossi 8320 is the
same as a Savinelli 320, etc. Should I pull the string on one of these or not?

Rossi pipes are made by Savinelli, yes. But you can't expect the same quality for a cheaper price, I think.

I would rather go for an estate Savinelli than a Rossi. I own 25 Savinelli pipes of which most were bought as estates.

Check out Blue Room Briars.

I bought a Rossi Vitorria 8320 for $38.50 at one point. It has been a great pipe. It does not take the filter if that is important to you. I don't have any reservations recommending them. It had the fit and finish you would expect in a $100 Savinelli. The Vittoria line is a little plainJane, but that is my style.

My 320KS is a Rossi.

It was an estate that I cleaned up.

The grain is excellent, no fills, it smokes great.

That's a pretty amazing resto you did. Good job!

I have a Savinelli 320 unfinished and a Rossi 8320 Rubino.
Both are great pipes.
An added benefit of the Rossis is that many come with a vulcanite stem - if that's important to you - whereas most of the Savinellis are acrylic these days.
