Hmmm...this thread certainly raises some interesting questions.
First, do I understand correctly that the link to the list of ingredients Doc posted includes only those ingredients used by British American Tobacco (BAT) in its products sold in the UK? That's certainly what the listing seems to say.
If that's true, it wouldn't include any ingredients used by the Lakeland companies (GawHogg & SamGaw), which are still private companies as far as I know—not part of the BAT conglomerate. There are numerous scentings and natural essences known to be in Gawith Hoggarth and Samuel Gawith weedages that are absent from the BAT list. So, it's pretty clearly evident that the list simply doesn't cover the Lakeland products (...nor did Doc's post imply that it does, for the record).
Second, although BAT owns the rights to the Dunhill brand, they're apparently not actually doing the manufacturing of the current line of Dunhill pipeweedage. Rather, it appears that the manufacturer is (once again) Orlik, the Danish company that took over manufacturing of Dunweedage after Murray & Son of Belfast went belly up in 2004. According to a July 2010
article in PipesMagazine.com, the tobacco is made by Orlik in Denmark.

As for the flavoring in Royal Yacht, I found a post on TR.com that claims, "
The actual casing used is a plum essence, NOT tonquin." ...er, OK—but I usually take most of what I read on TR.com with a few pounds of salt. Nonetheless, if the Royal Yacht flavoring is indeed plum essence, the list Doc posted covers it. "Plum juice/concentrate" is one of the flavourings on the BAT list.
All I know for certain is this: When I smoke Royal Yacht, I use a very small pipe. That stuff delivers a Nico-Buzz From Hell<img class="emojione" alt="
