Not to stray too far from the topic, but these damn kids :shakecane: need to learn somehow. They're willing, though, which is good.

Back to the topic, flakes/broken flakes get rubbed out. Tried the cube cut method and it works fine. But more prep doesn't equal a better smoke for me at least. Need to try this more.

Plugs/cakes get rubbed out as well. Same for coins such as Escudo.

Don't have many ribbon cuts, but they go straightaways into the pipe.

Ropes get cut up into small coins, dried, and rubbed out.

Kind of like having a touchy feeling with the 'baccy I'm about to partake of.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...........

I've smoked a lot of flake, and although I'd love to roll and stuff, the result is far too many relights. I then conceived of a method that would preserve the flake yet burn. I tore the flake into small matchsticks and rolled/rubbed it until the sticks loosened but did not come apart. Still too many relights. Now I do the stick method but rub it out further, until they themselves become pieces. This lights. For me there is magic in smoking a flake that is still flake, but I can't get this to burn.
