Hi, Does anyone have any info about the Savinelli Autograph G? I have only seen numerical grades. Thank you.

Hi there Lou and welcome~!

Sorry, can't help much on the Sav Autograph G -- but these folks should be able to answer your questions.  Oh, and also attaching photos of your pipe and including the exact stampings nomenclature is helpful.

Hi lou
Has the pipe got 2 thin brass rings with a wood insert between them at the shank end ?
If so it was made same time as Savinelli produced the punto oro Mister G range mid 1970's
Autograph's made around this time are considered the best ever made

I've only seen Autographs with a numerical designation. I'd like to see some pix of this one please.

Beautiful - vulcanite or acrylic stem? (I assume it is a filter pipe if acrylic)

If you like that sort of pipes, you could do a lot worse than to get one of
what I take to be the early ones that were made for Savinelli by Brebbia.
Not marked as such but ID'd by the angled slices of briar through the stems
near the shanks that Brebbia still uses on their Lineas (As, AAs & AAAs). Grotesquely
overpriced, & re-sale values around 15% but dynamite pipes.

Autographs (& Linea Artisans alike if little fills don't bother you).

IMO FWIW
