Hey guys,

I'm trying to send money to someone in Russia for a pipe. He's posted a few pipes here and they are beautiful. However, his english isn't very good and my Russian is even worse (as in non existent).

I was just wondering if anyone has ever sent money via Western Union before or bank transfer. He sent info for both, but I'm finding it very hard to understand.

Any help would be appreciated:)

Trust me, I would LOVE to use Paypal, but you can't send money to Russia!

If its Yakslon I believe he's actually in the Ukraine.. Several members here have purchased from him with no issues...

Maybe they'll chime in with their experiance.

No, it's not Yakslon (although I need to pick up one of his beauties!) It's a new member Sergey Cherepanov.

Here's the pipe I'm (trying) to buy:

It's a beauty, but it ain't easy making this transaction.

An International money order might be worth a try,,,

I did this for a Yakslon pipe. Basically, you send the Western Union to a bank of his choice, so you need the bank name and address. I also filled in his name. That's about it. Then, they give you a MTCN number (a kind of security code) that you will need to email to him so he can claim the funds at the bank. That was it.

It costs more than Paypal, but I don't believe Paypal is an option, and if the price of the pipe is right, it's worth the cost of the Western Union.

Personally, I was very happy I did it.

Alas, PayPal in Russia and Ukraine only works in one direction. We can pay, but get paid until we can not. Better you use Western Union or MoneyGram. If you want, I can duplicate your problem Sergei.
