Wow! You have some amazing talent. I love the way you do the foliage. It is very sharp and looks just like a photo. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful, Shawn. Love what you're doing. Is that Barred Owl your drawing . . . or a photograph?

Thanks for posting your work,

RobD

I continue to be amazed by the talents of some members here at BoB.

That Barred Owl is just exceptionally great. You sir should have no problem having your work on display and for sale at a gallery. I especially love Doby vs Ovie, but I'm a hockey nut.

Thank you for the kind comments gentlemen!  And thanks to Rob for bumping this up. It reminded me to post some of my latest work.

This one was commissioned as a gift for a retired USAF colonel for his 90th birthday. It depicts the F-100 Super Sabre he flew in Vietnam, while he was squadron commander of the 612th tactical fighter squadron. He really is a neat guy and still flying as pilot in command at 90.

This was done for submission to the NC wildlife calendar.

This was done just for fun. I have always liked lighthouses and this is a depiction of the restored "screw pile" lighthouse that was originally placed in the Roanoke river but now has come to live in the harbor of Edenton NC.
